Aim and Scope
Paediatrica Indonesiana is an international peer reviewed journal embracing all the scientific, clinical, and public health disciplines that address all aspects of pediatrics and perinatal medicine. It includes articles related to research findings and ocassionally case reports and clinical reviews.
Authors submitting to the journal will be asked to mention/select the category from the following list which best describes the focus of their paper:

Publication Frequency
The journal publish 6 times/year, bimonthly (Jan-Feb, Mar-Apr, May-June, July-Aug, Sept-Oct, Nov-Dec), 9-11 articles/issue.

Paediatrica Indonesiana (PI) is an open access journals by means that all of our articles are free to access on the internet to all users immediately upon publication. Users have the right to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of our articles.
Journal History
Paediatrica Indonesiana is the official journal of the Indonesian Paediatric Society (Ikatan Dokter Anak Indonesia - IDAI). Paediatrica Indonesiana is a long-established medical journal and the leading national pediatrics and perinatal medicine journal in Indonesia. This bimonthly journal, which was founded by the late Professor Soetedjo, printed its initial issue since 1961 and was a pioneer in English medical-periodicals in Indonesia. Professor Soedigdo Sastroasmoro joined the managerial board in 1987 and continued to lead the journal until 2011. He has overseen significant growth in the number of quality articles published and in the regularity of its publication. Paediatrica Indonesiana has been awarded the highest level of accreditation (Grade A) since the early 1990s by the Director General of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education and Culture.
Starting from December 2011, Doctor Partini P. Trihono has taken the responsibility as the Editor-in-Chief up to today. Her contribution has helped to promote Paediatrica Indonesiana national-wide and it is on its way to the international recognition. Moreover, under the management of Professor Sofyan Ismael and the former Business Manager, Doctor Abdul Latief, the improvement of Paediatrica Indonesiana distribution has been observed. With current Business Manager, Professor Badriul Hegar, Paediatrica Indonesiana has applied open journal system for its online management.
